I just read in a book what books a certain scientist had in his library. The reason it was mentioned was to reason about his sources of inspiration. In today´s connected world it isn´t much help knowing what physcial copies of what physical books a person have in their library. I do have a passion for reading books though. I´ve been collecting books since I was about 15 in some sort of childish dream to create a good library. When I was about 25 my reading and collecting took a quite drastic turn from the objective realm to the subjective. The main interest, however, has always been philosophy and it´s closer sons and daughters; historical and current society, the workings of the mind and ideas (from scientific methodology to fruits of innovation). I threw and gave a lot of books away a couple of times and quite recently put a lot of the most boring ones in the attic.
